- Board of Directors have final authority related to RMB Nagpur Policies. Board may put a Member on probation or open a Member’s classification or drop them for failure to comply with the Membership Policies.
- Two persons from each RMB Nagpur classification can join a chapter of RMB Nagpur. However, if a new member application is received in an already filled classification, the Leadership Team will discuss with the current member first and then only take the final decision of approving or rejecting the new application.
- Members should represent their primary professional focus.
- Members must arrive on time and stay for the entire published meeting time.
- A Member cannot be in any other program that holds Members accountable for passing referrals.
- A Member is allowed two absences within a continuous one month period. If a Member cannot attend, they may send a substitute; this will not count as an absence.
- There are no leaves of absence except for medical leaves.
- Members who wish to change their RMB Nagpur classification must submit a new membership application for approval by the LT and Board.
- Only Rotarians of Nagpur City can be a part of RMB Nagpur Chapter. However, in some circumstances Rotarians of nearby cities can also be a part of RMB Udaipur if application is approved by LT and Board.
- Non-Rotarians can also be a part of RMB Nagpur Chapter in the first year. By the time of membership continuation in the second year, they will be assisted by the president to join a local Nagpur Rotary Club of their preference.
- Family Members and relatives of current Rotarians in Nagpur like Spouse, Children and Siblings can also join RMB Nagpur with the recommendation of the fellow Rotarian and also provided that they are directly representing the Business Classification.
- Any new member from now will be inducted in the Chapter only once he/she comes as a visitor first in an Official Meeting of RMB Nagpur.
- Before finalizing the Expression of Interest of a New Member to join RMB Nagpur Chapter, at least 1 member of the Leadership Team or any member appointed by them, has to visit the premises or workplace and do a due diligence of that Person’s work experience and capacity to justify his/her membership in his/her classification.
- Only after this, the Leadership will Share the details of that member with the Board and take an approval from any 1 of the board member for acceptance of membership and then only the fees of that member will be accepted.
- If any of the RMB Member has an issue with any new member joining the chapter, they have to raise it to the Leadership Team immediately when the Person comes as a Visitor.
- Even if a new member pays the fees, if the due diligence is not satisfactory or a genuine objection by any current member is raised, the Board has the right to terminate the membership by giving a refund to the new entrant.
